C.L.C. Teardrop; 'Smart' Camper?

While this is not a Smart car, I think it could be towed by a Smart car since it is really small and lightweight. It would be neat to tow it with my 2012 Smart Fortwo Passion. It is a teardrop from Chesapeake Light Craft. They normally create boats (kits, plans, etc) but decided to make a teardrop camper. I think it is very well done.

It shows it as a wood camper but the video (below) shows it as a fiberglass camper with a wood core. Since the fiberglass is clear, one can see the beauty of the wood beneath it. It indicates it makes it strong and lightweight. It does make it really nice looking. The fiberglass makes it more durable and keep water out.

One can get plans or a kit. I would lean more toward the kit since they would give you all the parts to build it. It would be easier than having to buy the wood and cut it to the shapes one needs. This would be my preference since I have little to no wood working skills. They have study plans so one can access if it is what one wants to do. There is also a manual.
One can see how small it in relation to the tow vehicle.
It has a galley in back. It is something that makes it a teardrop camper.

Here it is being 'towed' by a mini Cooper. it would be - IMO - great for a small car to town.
Perhaps give a silver tridon like the Smart has and it could be a 'smart' camper? (just thinking out loud).

I like this video on YouTube that shows it.

It was mentioned in the Cool Tears magazine.

Smart Plane?

It seems Fly Eco has decided to adapt the three cylinder diesel engine from a Smart Fortwo to power an airplane. AVWEB. YouTube. I think this is the Smart way to power an airplane. Sport Aviation Magazine.
I like how they matched the Smart engine airplane to the Smart Fortwo.
Using a diesel engine could make it more economical and green since diesel could use more than just diesel fuel but also jet a-1 fuel.

It is a shame they don't bring the diesel powered Smart to the US. I think it would broaden the appeal of the Fortwo if the economy of this small car is increased. It seems many car companies are not only coming out with diesel powered cars but also selling them in the US.  I think Green Car Reports might be correct. I think Smart would have done better with the diesel engine than the gas engine, economy wise.

SmarApache is SmarCool

I have found a site where they took a Smart Fort and altered its appearance - with a computer - and mashed it up with other vehicles / designs. I think it is well done. There are some I like more than others. There are a couple that I would like to see in real life. SmarApache. They call it 'smart manipulations'.
This is one of 'creations' that I wish would exist in real life. It transforms the boxy form of the Fortwo into something very sporty and cool. I think Smart should consider doing something similar, hopefully keeping the lines of this design.
I think this design is very doable. If Smart made this as the new Forfour, I would definitely buy it. I think it keeps the charm of the original Fortwo but with extra seats / doors.
I read of a roller coaster where the cars are Mini Coopers. I think this is entirely doable, putting a Fortwo body type on a roller coaster car.
I have a commercial where they put a Fiat 500 body on a personal water craft. I think this could be done with a Fortwo body on a personal water craft.
